Steven Stoddart has over 35 years legal experience in commercial, business and property matters.
Regarded as one of the most experienced pharmacy lawyers in Australia, Steven’s experience includes several years working “from the other side of the desk” in the commercial environment where he benefited from dealing with the challenges and issues that businesses face every day from the clients perspective.
Steven’s developed expertise sees him regularly advising on complex commercial transactions, the intricacies of the Pharmacy Location Rules and all aspects of franchising law. He also practices in the areas of succession and property law.
Steven recognises the importance of understanding the needs of each client and of having a close relationship with them. His practice is built on solid foundations and core values, evidenced by the fact his first client remains a client of his today.
Sarah Stoddart is an experienced principal lawyer who focuses on pharmacy, employment and general commercial matters including property transactions and leasing.
She regularly advises on business transactions, regulatory compliance issues and prepares detailed submissions to government departments. Sarah also works with both employers and employees in relation to matters concerning all stages of an employment relationship.
Her experience includes several years practice at a global law firm and a secondment to a large, public company as in-house legal counsel.
Sarah’s passion and interest in her practice stem from her desire to work closely with her clients to develop and grow their businesses. Working with business and property owners, employees and government regulators provides Sarah with an all-round perspective and the ability to consider each matter from different perspectives.
Sarah is also responsible for the firm’s publication service which provides information on recent issues and case law summaries to our clients.
